The Nottinghamshire Police Pipe Band (NPPB for short) is based in Nottingham in the East Midlands of England. Whilst bearing the name and informal support of the Nottinghamshire Police, and the support of the Chief Constable in particular, the Pipe Band is actually composed mainly of civilians and is largely independent of the Police Authority as such. (See the Band History page for a more detailed background). That said, the band is happy and proud to act as a public relations unit for the Nottinghamshire Police whenever possible upon their request.

We are currently graded 4B within the structure of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association.

The band is available for hire, everything from a full band spectacle to a solo piper for weddings, funerals or other private functions.

You will find more details about the options and points to consider on the Band Hire page.

We hope you will enjoy your visit. Please feel free to get in touch with us on anything that takes your interest - whether it be the music, the website itself (suggestions always welcomed) or anything else. If you are in the area you are cordially invited to pop in to any practice but please check in advance with the Secretary so that we know to expect you (follow the link to Practices and you’ll see why).

Thank you for visiting and Haste Ye Back! In fact, just to make it easy for you CLICK HERE TO BOOKMARK THIS PAGE
